Could it really be spring?

The yellow snow crocus are blooming. At least, that is what I call them. These crocus have smaller blossoms than the crocus that bloom later. I call them snow crocus, because it can still snow when they are blooming. It has not snowed at any time this month. The last time this happened was in 1892! Could it really be spring?
Looks really neat in b&w - quite a pretty little flower.

Gorgeous shot. It is only now that I realised how beautiful flower shots could be in b&w.

@sangwann Thank you. It took me quite a while to get used to the thought of processing flowers into black and white.

@bkbinthecity I hope spring has arrived. However, the long range weather forecast says that we can get more snow and even some ice.

@craftymeg Thanks. The light in the front flower bed is nice in the mid morning and in the afternoon.

@pyrrhula Thank you. I really do hope that it is truly spring. However, I know that we can still have more snow. In my location, we can even get snow when the daffodils are blooming.

@daisymiller You can`t master nature.
@daisymiller That`s why we call a lighthous a firehouse and a lightship a lightship. Lightships never have used fires

I like the high contrast between the ground and the crocus. Nicely captured!
