The money plants are blooming. When I was growing up, people called this "Lunaria". I call it the money plant, because of the flat seed pods that resemble coins. This plant is a biennial, meaning that it blooms every other year. This plant seems to have a mind of its own---growing where it wants to and not where I plant it. Since I like this plant, I let it grow in my garden and encourage it to grow approximately where I want it to grow. P.S. The blossoms grow in clusters, but I shot this lone blossom to bring out the color graduations and veins of the blossom.
Love the way you've shown the veins of the petals - and nice dof. Very interesting to read about this flower - thanks for including the information. Fav
