In the nearby town of Parkland, there is a Golf and Country Club community with these fabulous gardens at the entrance. Next week, I have my very first real photo shoot of a family and this is where we are going. What an amazing place! I can't wait! At first, it was going to be 4 generations of the family, but they all can't come. Should be an experience.
@raineyday Thank you for your nice comments. It is beautiful there. I didn't have an ND filter to extend the exposure for the waterfall. I went there at 10 AM, which is the time of the shoot and I am thinking the lighting will be somewhat harsh. I was glad to find some shady areas, though. I pray the weather will be with us! Either that or we play in the rain!
@purdey It is an amazing discovery. I have been inside the subdivision looking at homes, but had no idea this was there. I even had pulled an article from the paper a year or so ago about it, but never made the connection. It's like going to another country. Thanks for your kind words!
@skipt07 Gee, thanks so much, Skip! I am excited and intimidated all at the same time. I am super excited at the location, though. I will have to share some of the photos I take there. Thanks for your support!

@lynnb Thanks! I think it will work great. Many different areas, including shade and open sunlight. I was concerned.
@rhondatn Thank you! I am praying it will work out well!
@daisy Thank you, Kathryn. I am hoping to have fun. One of the subjects is a bit of a photographer so I hope I meet her expectations!
@chrismarfil oh, Chris, it was fabulous and I was the only one there. Very serene and unlike anything else around here.
I wish you well on your photo shoot!! I hope it is a great experience for you and that you will get more!
