Costus plant

We named him Bob. :-) This was a gift from my son for Mother's Day. It had buds and is just beginning to bloom. I am excited as I have never had one before.
I looked it up online to find out more info. Lovely flowers.

@mittens We named it for Bob Costas, the sports announcer. :-) It's a cool plant; in the ginger family.
