Observatory

The Hole-in-the-Rock in Phoenix was one of the first "observatories". What a view!

I wasn't aware, but because of the stillness of the air, there are many actual observatories there. Therefore, they frown upon light pollution from artificial sources. Would be great to go out into the desert at night. Next time!
