Two nights ago, I grilled out some chicken and then THOUGHT about putting my grill cover back on in case it rains. My grill is my favorite toy--and I've owned several over the years. Anyone who knows me knows that this Weber Grill, now covered in rain drops for two straight days, is my baby. I vowed this year to take good care of this wonderful gift from my husband Christmas 2011. I'm cursing that I decided to "wait until the morning" to cover this grill--so I decided to take a photo of my temp gauge crying out for help!
This photo marks my first all-manual photo. At least, I think it is. I have not worked with a camera so sophisticated as my Canon Rebel, but I love how the photo came out in the end. I have done nothing to it, so it's exactly what uploaded from the card! The slight red dot in the "dial" I believe is my camera's light? The slight red reflected off the top of the grill is a bird house hanging nearby but caught in the reflective nature of the raindrops.
And next time, Daryl, put on the damned grill cover!!! :/
@edhaynes thanks! I used my zoom lens too! I really don't understand my camera, though, so I'm hoping to take the manual with me to FL tomorrow so I can really look things up. My trip is missing the piece that goes to the camera. :/ Hoping to get some cool shots in Fernandina Beach! Fingers crossed. Welcome to 365 Edward!
