Left in Limbo

Went in my backyard with camera this early morning after a wet, wintry walk with my dog. Found this little leaf -- the last one hanging on in the whipping wind. Used photoshop to frame it some and to help provide contrast. Sky was much darker than here.

This reminds me of the O Henry story where the gentleman paints the last remaining leaf on the wall as a way to inspire the sick woman to hang on for spring. ( I won't spoil the ending for you). Nice silhouette shot.
