Freaking Tree Hugger by darylo

Freaking Tree Hugger

I've been accused of hugging trees and being all "environmental" and stuff. Turns out I'm not alone. :)

lovely shot - and what's wrong about tree hugging anyway?? Why does any environmental concern these days get put down??!!

Awesome shot, love all the amazing details. I happen to love tree huggers.
September 2nd, 2013
@juliedduncan He was hard to capture as he really is translucent. And absolutely tiny.
September 2nd, 2013
@vankrey hehehe, yeah, safely on this side....wait, where did he go?
September 2nd, 2013
@pflaume He does hug the leaf. I noticed others doing the same. I think they sit there and wait for a fly or a gnat to wander over and it can hug it out of life or something. I was trying to catch flies getting mosquitos. But then, this was pretty cool. A macro really shows you what you never see.

@rvwalker Thanks Ross!

@photofella I know, right? During one election (the famous Al Gore election), my friend told me, "I'd vote for Al Gore if he wasn't such a tree hugger." I kept thinking, hmmmm, what's wrong with being a strong advocate for the environment? . Oh well. I'm a freaking tree hugger and proud of it. I like this little guy too...as long as he stays on his leaf. :)

Way better large even! And, I try to get a pic of these crab-alicious spiders, but they hide so well when I get near them!

@shunter @cimes1 @zenna @amrita21 @espyetta Thanks! They really are like crabs as MaryBeth points out. They are teeeeeeeny too.
