Since I am behind on taking photos because I have been spending more time on editing old photos for some upcoming competitions/showings, I thought I would resubmit to 365 the final versions in some blank spots--and hopefully, I'll get a shot in today to get back on track!
This photo was selected as part of Atlanta Celebrates Photography with our photo club and it was what we call an "open" competition--so anyone could submit. 100 of 425 photos were selected (50 photographers selected also) and this is one of them. I only submitted 3 images, so I'm glad I got 2 of 3 selected (you could submit up to 6).
In the editing, I make this as "high key" as possible and allowed the image to appear more like "brush strokes" than precision with focus--will see what it looks like as a print. It's being framed for the show now. And the opening reception will be Oct. 10.
