I love the HIGH in Atlanta--sleek, modern, and full of light. I loved how down in the atrium, looking up, the glass ceiling cast shadows along the white panels. I'm not sure I've cropped it enough. I liked playing with it, so any advice is welcome.
As much as I love taking bird photos, I crave more structural photos that city buildings provide (none really where I live), so I was channeling all my "fav" photographers who often post structural subjects--it was nice to give it a go!
Also, there's something up with your account . .. I know I was following you, then I was not and had to start again, and same with Taffy. Now it says you have only completed 1% of your year.
@jyokota Ha, that's funny about the photos and tilting! I love @northy 's work! About my account--this album is a new one, so that's why it is showing 1% as I started it late. If you click on the 365 album, it has all the stats right (I think). And with following and not, I never really know what is up. I have had issues with this some, but if it happens again with you or Taffy, I'll just have to go to a photo and say "Follow Me Pleeeeeease!" :) I have huge issues with IE (my browser) and commenting here--it throws my comment to the TOP of the list and not the bottom and I have to refresh the page everytime. I work on IE with my LMS, so switching browsers to check in on 365, which is what I do, is hard to keep remembering. Sigh. Not perfect, but at least we are all in touch again! Yay!
@jyokota Oh, and yes, love Faith Ringold and I did see the quilt! If you ever come back to Atlanta, I really would loooove it if you contacted me and I could take you out for coffee and maybe do some gallery visiting/movie watching/theatrical something and take shots! Oh, and foooood! It would be so fun. :)
@darylo -- I am definitely going to contact you before my next trip to Atlanta! And I would hope you'd contact me before your trip to xxxxxxx (insert whatever city I might be in at the moment!) or Chicago, where I usually reside.
