Ok, I’m a day late, so I took two sign shots today to catch up with everyone on the “Give Me Direction” challenge by Jerry Plume this week (see: http://365project.org/discuss/general/21608/give-me-direction-too)! I was pathetic today, dropping off my child at soccer and then going on a find-a-sign mission while trying to locate CO2 cartridge refills for my Soda Stream machine (my regular place was out of them).
It’s apparently prom night too, and as I drove around in traffic looking for the perfect signs, I saw all these cars lined along the streets, kids in tuxes and elegant dresses, and photographers (parents and pros) capturing the excitement of the night. Meanwhile, I’m looking everywhere for SOMETHING!
Enter a strip mall, just next to Hooters (no, I’m not making this up), and I see a Laundromat with lots of signs all over the windows, but next door is the SIGN*A*RAMA. It was like the Jerry Plume heavens opened up and said, “Daryl, duh, take this shot of the ‘SIGN’”! Ha!
Then I drove out a back alley over to a side street to avoid more traffic and low and behold was this optical/eye Dr. business with these big signs advertising different brands of glasses in the windows. So, I’m pleased I got something other than a Yield sign, which was about to be the shot (from two angles for two days…hahaha).
Join the challenge! These are always a joy to do. And, I needed something different from my flower shots for March. Darned Camellia barely made a move (but it did bust out a bit of pink!).

I missed this challenge somehow and I love me som jerry challenges! Unfortunately the signs of spring are about the only signs I see because I can't get out still. This one is fabulous!
