I wanted to see the ice sculptures in Copley Square from New Year's Eve and took the bus down with my camera, only to find that they were already gone. I don't know if they melted yesterday or were taken away, but only the pedestal blocks of ice remained. There was a dull, after-the-party feeling around town, rather disappointing.
I came home to my colorful, festive Christmas world (the 9th day of Christmas already) and prepared a tea tray, which Peter was good enough to carry in for me as I wrapped myself in blankets on my chaise longue. It was lovely to be warm and have tea by the Christmas tree.
