The Arboretum was entrancing yesterday. Some of the blooming things I saw, in addition to all the lilacs, were the bleeding hearts under a lilac bush, masses of pink azaleas, Chinese redbud, and the yellow magnolia, which has an exquisite scent--citrusy and sweet.
