Look who came into town

The South Auckland Riding for the Disabled ponies came into the Pukekohe Town Square today. They were there to raise funds and an awareness. Also, Lady Grey, the 26 year old timor pony is competing in the Horse of the Year competition. The volunteers brought Pepper into town too. Lady Grey is so placid - she has special boots on her front hooves, as her feet were beginning to be a problem - all solved now.

How lovely to see these ponies. My sister had a timor pony years ago called "Tiny" - he was one of the ponies that used to work in the coal mines in the Nelson district.
