Life on the farm

This was a couple of days ago - between the very heavy rain showers. We are break feeding the young heifers, which means shifting electric fences and giving them small blocks of the paddock at a time. As soon as you go into the paddock, they start bellowing and acting like they are starving! Some are Josh and Chad's animals and some we have taken in for grazing. That's our son Josh with the two labradors (Holly and Sue).
A beautiful herd of cattle ! a lovely collage !

I lost count the number of fencers I've moved in my lifetime, a job I enjoyed very much looking back. Lots of grass for them to eat there. Lots of rain I believe, our son had to overnight them on the race the other night.
