Finished! by dide

Finished!

After a great team effort, the rock garden is finished. The 'spears' (that my four sisters gave me) instigated this feature. Chook dug the footings and placed the sleepers, Josh and I backfilled with topsoil, then between Jesse, Chad and I, we wheelbarrowed one and three quarter cubic metres of stone from the big heap that had been unloaded on the driveway. Plants (miniature flax and grasses) and three biggish rocks which Julz ( @julzmaioro ) helped collect, saw the job completed! Thanks sisters - looks great! We'll divide the bill by four, so watch for it in the mail!
Looks really good ... what a great team effort ... though my part in it all was pretty minor really ...

It is beautiful Dianne, and worth all the effort, I'm sure. I like the idea of using the railway sleepers. It has also given me ideas for our garden as we'll be re modelling it in the future and I know that my dad has a few sleepers lying around up at his place!
