Last night, when we were having a picnic tea with friends at Te Toro beach, we could hear a helicopter approaching… Actually, it wasn't a helicopter, but instead, it was the hovercraft rescue vessel from the Auckland Airport. It must've been on some training exercise (or else taking staff for a Christmas jaunt!) It's certainly a bright colour.
