Puhoi is a cute wee town, with a church, museum, district hall, general store, pub and cute wee library. The pub, (right of centre) is where Jesse was woodchopping the other day. To the left, with the red roof, can be seen the church, the old school and the hall. This image was taken from part of the Puhoi walkway - a lovely walk along the ridge line of the nearby bush area. Just up the road is the Puhoi Cheese Factory - also a cafe. A lovely area to spend time exploring.
@bkbinthecity@louannwarren@365karly1 We were staying in the van down by the river, just opposite the tiny red-roofed library in the centre of the image.
What a dream world this is! The South Island was truly beautiful, but I had a certain affinity for the north Island and wish we could have explored there longer!
