We went to see War Horse yesterday. The production was supposed to come to NZ last year, but finally made it this time. What an incredible show - the main character was a horse called Joey and here he is (photo from the programme) as a foal. The puppeteers were amazing. They must be so agile, strong and fit. The horses were so lifelike and the lighting and sound effects were incredible.
We saw War Horse a few months ago, It was the best production I have ever seen. I could not believe how quickly I forgot that the horse was a "puppet". It was brilliant.
