White flowers for White Island.
White Island is a small island off the east coast of the North Island NZ. It is an active volcano and for many years, tour groups have been able to visit this area. On Monday, there was an eruption while a tour group was there, causing terrible burn injuries and some deaths. Our thoughts are with all the families at this time.

Indeed they are Dianne. A dreadful thing to happen. I remember seeing the boats doing White Island tours when we visited Whakatane. It will affect the whole area. A shocking calamity. RIP all casualties.
