Looking to the west, this is the view from the front of the section. As the crow flies, we are close to the west coast and if you look at the background hills, you can see they are not as green as the foreground, as the soil is very sandy and dries out quickly. I love the old macrocarpa trees and the cattle grazing.
These lovely macrocarpa trees are very strong - haven't grown sideways so they have shelter. This scene should be put to music! Love it - so bare and stark in a way! fav
