This is what our back yard and patio looked like yesterday while we were still in the midst of Jonas. I literally hated the thought of going to bed knowing what I would be facing Sunday morning. But you got to do what you got to do.
Joe got up Sunday grumpy as all get out. Eleven hours later (and the driveway dug out -- with Terry's help for about 9 of those hours) was the first smile he cracked all day.
I have this observation for you, Rick, and Francoise @francoise ... Interesting how "One Snowflake" as taffy @taffy and others photographed it is *Exquisite*! This, the very essence of "Too much of a good thing"!
So much snow!!! @Weezilou Louise, I love your notion of too much of a good thing! Hits the nail on the head! I wish we had a little snow, but so relieved not to be dealing with this.
I can't even begin to imagine what it would be like and I don't think I want to. I guess that is why there are so many old people living where we do - yours truly included!
Your accumulation makes ours look like 2 inches! LOL I'm glad Jeff didn't have this much to shovel- but he still went out 3 times to make sure he didn't have a huge amount to move before going to church.
There's almost no where to shovel it to! That's one things that's so hard about trying to shovel this much snow - having to toss it up higher and higher - that's where all the work comes in. Glad you got a path through - hope it melts for you soon! Too much of a good thing here.
