I am so, so, so excited to announce that I am FINALLY a REAL artist! My work is officially for sale!
Sure, I have my weddings, but this is my personal collection of my art, the stuff that comes from deep inside and actually has a story, a feeling, or a reason.
I feel so super proud, this is a life long dream that has just been realized and set into motion! I hope you guys will check it out!
Congratulations, i remember when i got hired to do my first mural, it was a feeling of accomplishment and to have my art displayed for others to see really was heartwarming.
Awesome, Amy. That is super exciting. And how cool to be sharing that with your best friend, too! My sis in law is an artist and works with one of her best friends, too. They have shows at local craft fairs and a web presence, etc. They have a blast!!
Whoa....im signed up to your blog and i just learned that you are the girls behind the blog!!!! the internet makes it such a tiny world!! Congratulations!!!!!!
Of course you are an artist, we already knew that! I had a long look at the site and I love your collection! So beautiful! You and Jenny will have an amazing business.
Congratulations Amy! I hope you sell a ton of stuff and realize your dream!! I've sold a few pieces and entered a few shows and it feels just as good each time I sell something!
Congrats!!!! so exciting!! I too have begun to sell my work largely based on my experiences with this project. I've been doing local art shows & art walks & plan to pay more attention to the web over the summer since it's to hot to do shows anymore :) It's so much fun & a whole world that I always was too intimidated by. I wish you all the best!!
Congrats Amy! Your fine arts website looks great as does your wedding website. I tried commenting on your blog but for some reason it's not letting me type a comment there.
@katiebrenkert@lesleyallen thanks guys!! The sailboat pic is my friend Jenny's that is doing the site with me. Isn't it AMAZING??? I'm totally buying it.
@lisjam1 LOL I don't know. :) You know what's funny is when it was just something Jenny and I talked about, I told her I'd have to work to get 25 images to put up there. Once I actually rummaged through, I actually had over 50. haha!! I guess we're just our own worst critics!
@hasselhotch@kjarn@bugik@dechris@timandelke thanks so much you guys, (for saying I was an artist all along Kathy and Elke, you guys are SO awesome) and for the congratulations. I appreciate it!
@amyhughes I’m sure you have much more than 50 that are appealing to potential buyers. You were pretty much a star here right out of the gate and rightfully so.
Congratulations on taking the plunge, Amy! I know how nerve-wracking it can be to put yourself and your photography/artwork "out there" for people to buy. I started making my fine art photography available for sale via Fine Art America last October, and it would never have happened if it weren't for 365! Best of luck on this new venture!
