Ok, not all....It's never all with me! I've had it less than a month, it's an upgrade from my previous 30D. As much as I loved my previous camera (it'll still be used in the field when photographing paintball), I love this one a million times more. And that is pretty hard since the 30 was my engagement ring.
For those that follow me they've seen quite a few needle and hospital photos, the 5Diii is both my lollipop for being brave every time I have to go, and the carrot to get me to keep up with treatments.
But enough about me, back to the camera! Hubby got it for me as a birthday present. He kept it a surprise and that's pretty hard for him. Didn't tell me what it was, didn't let me see it till he wrapped it and the 70-200L 2.8 ii up in a bigger box and added a bunch of styro and some stainless steel bars to the bottom. I could barely pick it up! After being hidden in our 600lb safe (the one that rolled over my fingers months ago as we were moving it in) for a few weeks it sat on the dresser in our bedroom for 3 days confusing me as to what it might be.
Opened it the morning of my birthday before he went to work.
I kid you not I broke down and cried when I brushed the packaging away.
@maggiemae *lol* That he did! He wrote on the wrapping paper "I love you so much it's impossible"
Had to cut that and keep it since it was just so sweet!

Thanks all, I am absolutely over the moon about it!
It is a fairly heavy kit, especially with the 70-200 on it. Because of my constant shoulder injuries I borrowed a monopod from a fellow photographer for covering the kids day event at the Abbey Medieval Festival. Ended up with a bruise on my collar bone from carrying it on my shoulder *lol* For the weekend event I had a little stuffed toy to rest on my shoulder between the monopod.
Can't have such an amazing gift cause me pain!
Got the 17-40 f4 a few days ago and have been playing around with that. My old midrange zoom not only got busted in the snow last month but is also crop lens.
