@grizzlysghost That's a good one! Of course, that must be the problem. Those flower shots are magnetically stealing all the FAV's off of the really good photos!
I have had that issue in Internet explorer in Windows 7 at my work. I have yet to figure out what causes it, but it's definitely related to IE. I never have the problem on my Mac at home.
I don't have that problem, but When posting a pic for a thread and I post more than one, the code will grab the pic that i posted prior. And then I have to go in and delete that pic and copy the code again???
@grizzlysghost Aaron, that must be why my comments on your captures are not showing up 8-). As for your favs, I'm loosing all of mine, must be so, stats don't lie do they ??
Just realised that when adding a comment sometimes the "Comment" button does not appear and it goes haywire. Have to close browser and reopen and then it's OK
One thing you should try - that in most cases will solve the problem with avatr/profil pics that won't update, any way - is to reset your browser cache. That means emptying it.
Internet Explorer lets you do that under the Tools menu somewhere. Emptying the cookies, too, can be a good idea, but you may temporarily loose login info to web sites, meaning you have to login again. (I'd rather use Opera on Windows, but have rarely had to empty the cache for that one.)
Safari (Mac) has a reset function under the Safari menu.
This might help with other issues as well. At least worth a try, I feel.
I think you have a Gremlin in your computer -- that is the only reasonable explanation. Oh, that AND the answers provided by people who actually understand computers : )
@gark Thanks for your reply.I have sorted it now. Was a cookie for another site that caused it. Deleted that and all is sweet, just took time to find the offending cooke. I wondered if anybody else had a similar thing happen. I have spent about 15 years teaching people (adults) computing and how to sort them. But thanks for your comments, just wondered if it was a common problem as sometimes these are much more common than anyone says. Cheers
