As this photo was developing in front of me I had to take it and share it this way. Most often there is just one or two things of interest that make a photo, this one has four. Right place right time camera in hand.
Love the examples! Great shots with lots to look at. Nicely shot.
I took one that follows the mold, but has three points of interest. I was composing the shot of the people sitting against a really cool gold wall, when the man with the hats walked through. Turned a nice shot into (what I think of as) a great shot. All about timing and preparedness.
@rrt - Oh okay. I didn't figure the River part of the equation. I saw your shot of being an overall sunset over water as kind of the "big picture" and saw the focal points of interest as the Heron, the Boat and of course the Sun itself. It is a lovely shot.
@joy26 - Hi Joy, not a tornado, but in fact a Volcano, dumping a load of ash onto the people of Rabaul. I have another shot of the volcano here, and I think this one falls into the 4 points category. First up the eyes see the Starfish, then the distinct divide between beach and sea (a very calm sea too) and then there are the boats in the water and of course, the Volcano and that flash of white cloud on the horizon. If you click on the photo and then click on the "tavurvur" tag, you will see a handful of Volcano shots...
but I can see comparisons in this shot.
