Here are mine:

@bankmann Those are cool scenes!

I don't know if it qualifies because it's not a statue, but I have this one:

@bankmann this is not exactly what you are looking for....but i really like it (don't spank me too hard?)

My niece and sister think the horse will step on them! EEEKK
The horse stands 24 feet tall.

Fort York Statue in Toronto and my daughter:

October 11th, 2012
@meisen325 The same picture - centuries apart... ;-) At least style-wise. ;-p
October 11th, 2012
@scatcat Thank you! ;-)
I don't really mind; it's a sculpture, and it interacts with people. I'll accept that. ;-) Very cool; I remember seeing it before.
October 11th, 2012
@sticksandstones Concider yourself spanked. Not too hard. ;-) Except for being quite wrong, it's wonderfully fun! ;-)
October 11th, 2012
@shirljess Good one - or three, actually - I remember you posting these Marilyn pictures. Amazing statue. ;-) I didn't catch the Disney pose, though. Very nice shot of you both. The smokers are hilarious! ;-)
October 11th, 2012
@cheribug I think she got a bit of a head start, there... ;-)
October 11th, 2012
@camisze Two very nice excamples, Cathy! I especially like the horse. It must either be gigantic, or that's a very effective use of POV. ;-)
October 11th, 2012
@northy I remember these. Brilliant answers, Northy! ;-)
October 11th, 2012
@m9f9l This made me laugh. Not only the complimentary pose, but also the smiles. That baby is too cute. ;-)
October 11th, 2012
@roth A girl and her (slightly gigantic) guardian. ;-) Nice. ;-)
October 11th, 2012
@camisze Love this shot! Very cool
October 11th, 2012
Sue
@bankmann thank you =) This was my first attempt at an "out of bounds" shot.
October 11th, 2012
Human? Well someone had to climb Victoria to help her wear the Vendetta mask!
October 11th, 2012
@tulipgirl I love the mask on her.
October 11th, 2012
@tulipgirl It's on the very edge, but I have to say I like it anyway. ;-)
October 11th, 2012
howz this for interaction?
October 11th, 2012
this is a little bit away from the frog prince.
October 11th, 2012
@bankmann And the mouth on both of them, which I didn't notice until I uploaded the pic.

Watching

October 11th, 2012
Somebody interacted with a traffic sign here:

And here, two statues are interacting...
October 11th, 2012
@camisze very nice composition!
@msk1p2 she must kiss on the mouth, but great capture!
October 11th, 2012
not statute-human, but statute-feline :)
October 11th, 2012
@chard hilarious, shame on the statue :)
October 11th, 2012
@chard I got a picture of her too. The statue that is, not the girl. It looks like the statue is comparing uh, hineys!
October 11th, 2012
@msk1p2 @scatcat
Good one, Sandra! But I think Muse is right; the kiss won't work unless it is on the lips... ;-p
October 11th, 2012
@chard That's a wonderful shot, Richard! Made me laugh! ;-)
October 11th, 2012
@meisen325 Exactly; their expressions is very similar; that's what makes the picture so great. ;-)
October 11th, 2012
@tskipper These are just too cute, Tami! ;-) I have to say my favourite is the first one.
October 11th, 2012
@mcrt Now, this is what I'm talking about! Perfect example! ;-)
October 11th, 2012
@mcrt Fantastic! WHat I like about this, is how the couple are just as bored as the statues... ;-p
October 11th, 2012
@jannaellen LOL! I like South Park, too! ;-) And I suspect you were channeling Terry Gilliam (him of the zany animations from Monty Python's work) at the time!
October 11th, 2012
@smevvy Cats are the most human-like animal there is, so I'll let this pass. ;-) So just like a cat to ignore the tiger. The tiger's either growling furiously over being ignored. Or it's laughing at its own bad joke. I can't tell which. Either way, the cat's above paying notice. ;-p

One more from Boston-

October 12th, 2012
This young lad was by himself looking at the animals on this bronze Peter Pan statue and stroking them! He was talking to them as well!
October 12th, 2012
@jcarrollphoto That was very cool. Jim! Is it a reflection or a painting?
October 12th, 2012
@olivetreeann Two very good answers, Ann! The figure in the b&w collage is a bit creepy, and very well presented. Gives me kind of an Japanese horror movie feel... ;-p The pose juxtaposition in the second picture is just brilliant! Great catch!
October 12th, 2012
@maggiemae Wow, that is more interaction than I hoped for, then. Kids and statues are fun to watch. Kids have the imagination to make them come alive. Nice catch. ;-)
October 12th, 2012

@bankmann It's my wife leaning against a giant sculpture at Millennium Park in Chicago
October 13th, 2012
I finally got inspired to take photos for a 365 thread. But it was raining, so there was not a lot of "Human-Statue Interaction" going on. And I was hesitant to take my camera, so I used my point and shoot. I didn't stay long, as there was an agitated guy, talking to himself and gesturing. I don't think he saw me, he was pretty much in his own world.
October 13th, 2012
@bankmann Thank you Bankmann. The sculpture on the wall really isn't that creepy- it's just weird! The second one- I couldn't believe it when I saw it and was just glad that fellow didn't move before I could get my p&s set up right for the shot!

Human - Human statue interaction

October 13th, 2012
Ed
Oh .... and Phil ...

October 14th, 2012
@nanalisarocks I'm learning that there's more than one way of seeing 'statue-human interaction'... I never really though about many of the things that are being presented here. I mean, we interact with statues just by observing them and their surroundings. Insight to teach me not to be so vague the next time... ;-p
I like your picture, Lisa. That hand is amazingly lifelike, and the raindrops only make it more so.
October 14th, 2012
@edpartridge Yet another variant I didn't foresee. ;-) Absolutely brilliant, actually! ;-) I really like how the three youths are standing there waiting for the 'statue's' next move.
October 14th, 2012
@edpartridge Uhm, yeah, what about Phil? Is he gonna sing? ;-p
