I've just realised that if you started on Jan 1st this is Day 100. I've also read a lot of comments from people saying that they are finding it tough at the moment (including me!). So if you're on Day 100 I want to say 'Well done and keep going!!' And why not share your Day 100 photos... Here's mine for starters although I took it last night so I'm cheating already...sigh!!

I have struggled at times but have remained inspired by everyone on 365 if yopu ready my comments on todays photo that will give you a good idea of how I feel... Don't give up your very good at this... I look back through my project when I'm struggling & find new motivation by the small but positive improvements in my photography or inspiration I would never in the past taken shots like I do now. Not that there good but different from the ones I would take in the past which was landscapes & more landscapes.....

Happy Day 100! I celebrated today by photographing pretty things in my backyard after the rain had stopped... Myself, my sister and a few friends who are also doing this project have been taking turns to choose daily themes with Sunday as 'theme-free' to allow for creativity =D

How do you measure, a year in the life?
I had fallen behind this last week (getting sick will do that to ya), so I had planned on spending some time in the pickup driving around the area today finding good 'catch up' photos, and possibly a really good one for my 100th.
Unfortunately, last night my county was ravaged by an incredibly intense thunderstorm that produced no fewer than a dozen tornadoes over the course of three hours. One town (about an hour south of me) is over half destroyed. Another town, only 10 miles away, they still are not allowing anybody but emergency services into town - the fire department has trucks parked across the road at every intersection. There are many people without a home right now, and countless others had already started cleanup efforts before the sun rose this morning.
Amazingly enough, nobody was killed, and there were no injuries more severe than minor cuts from flying debris.
So, I spent three hours this afternoon driving the countryside and snapping photos of the worst damages. There is really nothing I can do to help at this point, so I decided to capture the moments. My photo for yesterday (4-9-11) was the leading edge of the storm. Once it hit, I was too busy racing home to mess with the camera, and you really couldn't see anything anyway.
I signed up in mid December, and posted a couple of photos, but I've always had it in my mind that my project started on January 1st. Here's my 100th, taken this afternoon along a suburban trail set behind residential houses up against the foothills.
Yesterday was my Day 100, I wanted to celebrate it with a photo of both my boys together but alas the eldest one didn't want to "celebrate". lol. So here is my youngest experiencing his first go solo on a swing.
I've felt a mixture of emotions so far these past 100 days but I'm so proud of myself for getting this far. Here's to the next 100... as I'm taking it 100 at a time. lol.
