Just thinking and watching the scene play out before me. Only this is her real life, not a scene in a play. It brings back a memory, a flashback of a time. Then our eyes meet but for a brief moment. She looks at me for validation and I give that to her. It's all I can do as the scene ends as fast as it begins. I am left alone, with a surge of pain in my heart as a tear falls for this mirror of a past reflection.
