Here is my dog Milo. He is 5 years old. He is my best friend and the first dog I have ever owned. I don't know why it took me so long to own a dog, they are the best companions.
This is my baby, my precious and my little girl, Little Bear. She's old, grumpy and has been with me for 11 years. she also use to fetch like a dog, bring it back to me and chase dogs up the street, no joke.
I know it aint the best photo, but it really means something.

Three months after I took this photo of my 12 year old Pomeranian, I had to put him to sleep.
This is Marley. She isn't just a dog, she is part of the family. As a kid, we always had pets; dogs, cats, fish, rodents, birds and spiders. I did love all the animals that I have had the pleasure of knowing but Marley has by far been my favorite.
Recently Marley had to go to the vet because she stopped eating and began to lose weight. She was in such bad condition that they have had to keep her there. My sister-in-law was also forced to sell her car just to be able to pay the hospital bills that are beginning to add up. It would be so much cheaper to put her down but it is not even an option when your pet has become like one of your own.
She is already starting to do better. She is eating a little bit and drinking on her own. Just hope she can come home soon!
She has been a huge part of the family for over 6 years.
Tinker - the cat I've had the longest. I rescued her from the shelter to be my Mom's cat and I fell in love with her the minute I saw her. When my Mom could no longer live at home, Tinker came to live with us. Now my Mom's gone, but I feel such a connection with her through The Tink.

@annaruth Sorry to hear that your baby is going through a rough time right now. I am glad to hear she is eating. Hope she gets better. Thank you for sharing and I would love to hear about her progress.
i love this thread!
here's a shot of my dogs Tony, the Wheaton, and baby Ruby the labradoodle. She's gotten so big so fast (why can't they stay small a little longer?)
I have several cute shots of Maggie, but this is probably my favorite... when I finally figured out how to use my camera one-handed, with my left hand, well enough to get a fairly decent photo in the motorcycle mirror on our way home from Seattle. And those are not pink sunglasses as some have commented, but safety Doggles to protect her eyes from wind and bugs and flying debris. But they do look cute on her, don't they?!
@cherne thank you for your concern. I just got the news that Marley had to be put down. My sister-in-law came in crying and I didn't want to ask too many questions. Yesterday I heard that she may have cancer and they had to run more test. I am guessing they found cancer at that it was too far along.
