Winner: Camera Settings Challenge 14

October 20th, 2012
Congratulations to Patty @socalgal for her winning photo!

Now it's down to you to organise the next challenge.
You can either host the next challenge yourself if you have a camera setting you would like to teach, find someone you respect to host or post on this thread that you are looking for someone.

FYI - the following link has:
1) list of photographers you could go to if you would like.
2) list of topics already covered.
3) the format used in these challenges.

@socalgal Congratulations Patty.

@iqscotland Thank you for running the last challenge. I learned a lot from your comments on all the pictures.

@socalgal Congrats, really nice photo! The dew on the grass makes it quite lively, and it makes me want to run out into it barefeet!

@iqscotland
Thank you for hosting this fun challenge! I am honored and thrilled to have won! This challenge helped keep me "focused" on a specific way to shoot this week and was a nice way to give me some options to work with for my daily photo. You did a wonderful job as our hostess, thank you so much for your time and efforts!!!

I will reach out to one of our listed experts to help me host the next challenge.

@tigerdreamer @aromatic @nadaa @trieps
Thank you for your lovely comments and favs! Mushrooms are rarely seen in my area, so have really enjoyed having them as models, when I spot one! :-)

@orangecrush
Jerry, would you be interested in helping me with the next Camera Settings Challenge? Your skills with a camera are highly regarded and would love to hear what you would come up with for us?

@orangecrush
Thank you Jerry! iqscotland posted the guidelines above. The first step is to create a "camera settings" challenge, then send it out on a fresh discussion. I tried to come with one on my own, lack of enough coffee this morning, and my inexperience, kept me from coming up with something that hasn't been done yet.

If you would to prefer to just suggest an idea, I'll do the rest. But if you'd prefer to host the entire challenge, I'm fine with that too. Make sense?

@socalgal - congratulations, patty. whooo-hooo!

@iqscotland Thank you so much for hosting this last challenge. You were such a fantastic host! This is one I will revisit since I want to get better at it.

@orangecrush Thank you so much Jerry! I can't wait to see what you come up with!

@orangecrush
Good morning Jerry! So, have you had a chance to think about a selection for our Camera Settings Challenge? If not, I may have an idea... :-)
October 22nd, 2012
@socalgal I was out of town this weekend. Sorry about my slackin'! I was thinking about creative white balance. not too exciting though. I'm curious about your idea.

@orangecrush - lucky guy, getting out of town! :-)
I was thinking about SOOC - with all the Camera Settings challenges that have been done, doing an SOOC would be a nice way to pull it all together and show what we've learned... Your thoughts?
