@tigerdreamer I would LOVE to add him to the list. I know he said he couldn't for one of the challenges because of the location he was at, but hopefully he could in the future! I also have a list of people suggested but not confirmed that I will add as well.
May 25th, 2012
Will the photos be tagged? What will they be tagged?
May 25th, 2012
@kimmistephens We have been doing the Camera Setting Challenge - the tags are CSC-4 (the next one).
May 25th, 2012
Nice shot! You seem to be doing very well with this!
May 25th, 2012
I wonder if we should create a user that people can follow, like they do for the artist challenges? Thx for staying on top of this. You have been a huge help!
May 25th, 2012
@rockinrobyn I can look into & see if it is possible.
May 25th, 2012
I want to learn, but until next week I don't have time...do I count :)
May 25th, 2012
@httpgeffed You can do which ever challenges you want you don't have to do all of them. The next challenge will start Saturday and end Wednesday around 12:00 noon (aprox). I have been learning and having fun too

may I suggest the following:

Are you willing to host future Camera Setting Challenges if asked? You were recommended! I am putting together a list of experienced photographers (see above) for winners of the challenges to select to host the next challenge. Winners do not have to choose one of them but may want to know who they can ask.

To host a challenge you would post the Camera Settings Challenge to start late Friday or early Saturday. They run about 4 1/2 days where those who want to learn will post their pic's and want feedback on that particular setting. The host is encouraged to offer continuous feedback as people post but ALL/ANY experienced photographer knowledgeable about that particular settings are strongly encouraged to offer suggestions as well.
The challenge ends mid day on Wednesday, voting is Thursday (aprox 24 hours) and winner is announced early Friday (if possible). The new winner then selects a new experienced photographer to help us learn or grow a new skill.

The purpose of these challenges is to help those who have been stuck in "auto" to learn the DSLR settings and move toward using the manual settings hence improve their skills.

So ARE you IN??

She disappeared.
July 17th, 2012

July 17th, 2012
July 17th, 2012
@myhrhelper i liked her photos.
July 17th, 2012
@gabrielklee She is very talented! I think people leave for different reasons, some just need to pause from 365 - hopefully that is the case here but I have no idea
July 17th, 2012
@michaelelliott Would you consider hosting the camera settings challenge #10 that Nod started? We either need to start a new challenge or have someone complete the one already started. http://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/13715/csc-10-long-exposure-and-no-tripod
August 2nd, 2012
@myhrhelper - Kathy thank you for asking. While this challenge sounds great and right up my alley, with just finishing my video and project, I'm exhausted and need some time off. Sorry but I need to respectfully decline.
August 2nd, 2012
How can I join in the fun???
November 21st, 2012
@aprilmilani watch for the next camera settings challenge to get posted. We have a vote going on now and then winner will need to either start a new post or find someone else to challenge us. I will try to remember to tag you in the next challenge.
November 21st, 2012
Faving this so I can come back and do the old challenges at my own pace. Thanks so much for listing them all out like this!
April 13th, 2013
Hi Kathy, could you add CSC 23 to the bottom of the list? :) I will probably be hosting the next one!
April 17th, 2013
