Thank you to all who suggested words for 2014’s Just-4-July.
I should be getting my camera back in just a few more days. In the meantime, my husband found a power cord that I can use to charge the batteries for my other camera. So, I should be back up and running.
Please note that the dates are just recommendations and you do not have to stick to them, you can use any of the 37 words in any order you like, if you wish to.
The tag for July will continue in the same format as before, First three letters or the month, the year and then ‘words’.

There were 205 words nominated. This is how I compiled the list (please note it has changed from how I have done it in the past):
- First, I removed the words that were used in May and June.
- I then went through the list to find words with dates attached and assigned the word with the highest number of nominations to that date.
- Other words with the highest number of nominations were added randomly through-out the month.

Alternate words: Birthday, Anniversary, Cancer, Leo (star signs) as well as Ruby (birthstone) and Larkspur (birth flower)
** Please note: I have switched tennis and food. If you want to follow the dates on the image, please make sure to make the necessary change (I have had a difficult time getting everything loaded…I don’t want to make a change and mess it all up, again). I have been informed that tennis ends on the 6th. Sorry, I obviously am not a follower. Thanks for your understanding.

@nadaa Thanks for posting the link. I'm not sur what was happening, but every time I tried to post it, from there, through anything else I did, would come up blank, and it would change the image at the top to June's. Weird. Anyway, it was very nice of you to post the link for me.
@debrac Debra - what a great selection of words and very international too, which is wonderful. Thanks for including a day for our National Arts Festival and for doing this each month, it must take a while!
Now that confused me, I have just looked at the text list for todays word and noticed that yesterdays (6th) was Tennis?
In the image, it is Food?
Oh well....
@bulldog Yep, I was told after making the list that tennis needed to be posted by the 6th. I had so much trouble trying to get the list posted, I just tried to notify everyone of the change. Sorry, I'm not sure how I missed you.
