For the next challenge I have chosen HDR (High Dynamic Range) Photography.

A quick internet search provided a number of articles and images on this subject and I hope they are helpful.

This challenge starts Monday November 3rd and will run until Sunday November 16th. Photos to be considered for the challenge should be taken and posted within that time frame. Please tag your shots technique33

Constructive & kind feedback is encouraged. Feel free to share tips, suggestions or how you were able to get the terrific photo you did. Posting your photo on this thread is encouraged but not required.

my camera can do hdr, by taking three shots and combining them in-camera would that be cheating?

also I used software to get a fake hdr look to these, does anything go?

@888rachel Terrific challenge...Looking forward to joining in! (I just posted an HDR photo I took yesterday but found the exif information is only 'n the drop down menu info... Will that be the case for everyone?) Thanks!

Fantastic idea!! Of course, I love it! Now to get back to the city where HDR makes sense! I'll definitely post something.

My camera doesn't do HDR, but I use Picasa to simulate it like @kali66. Will that count?

@kali66 @homeschoolmom @yaorenliu Tp open up this challenge to everyone, I am happy to accept the HDR processing in-camera, and software processing. I know that Fotor, a free software package, does HDR. Thanks for participating. I can't wait to see your entries!

@lambda yes, you can do HDR in PS, but I have found LR doesn't have the functionality.
