Hello and welcome to May’s list of words. Time is flying by so quickly and I am still as busy as ever on the farm. I was hoping to be back into 365 more by now but it hasn’t happened yet! Thank you all for your patience with my neglect of you all lately.
Mittens (Marilyn) @mittens also commented on how quickly time is flying when she gave her suggestions so I am not the only one who finds this happening! Without further ado, I wish to thank everyone who took the time to make suggestions for this month’s challenge. It makes my job of coordinating the list so much easier.
I cheated this month and used the same template that I used for last May. It was amazing how many of the words suggested this year duplicated the words suggested last year. So nice to see old favourites coming back each year!
Nicole Campbell @nicolecampbell has reintroduced May as Half and Half month so please tag your photos with the 'mayhalf18' tag also if you manage to combine your word with this challenge. The word Half and half is included once in this list but there are several words (horizon, stairs,leading lines) that lend themselves to being used for the half and half challenge.

For newer members, the word of the month is a great place to dip your toes into. This challenge is also a great place for older members who occasionally lose their mojo and need ideas or inspiration. It can be a great challenge for those who want to go that extra nine yards to do a full month of words. The choice is yours!
The tag for the month will continue in the same format as before, first three letters of the month, the year and then ‘words’ (may18words).
Feel free to do one word, a few, or all of them. They can be done in any order you choose, or on the suggested day. Pop in daily, or just on occasion. This is your challenge, and your project. Until next month, enjoy!
