+++New Macro Challenge - NUTS+++

February 9th, 2020
My appreciation goes to that one extra vote that clinched the win for me.  Congratulations should also go to the other finalists and thank you to  @mzzhope hope for hosting the last challenge which we must admit was quite fun and interesting.

Now, correct me if I'm wrong, as this list doesn't seem to be complete but the past subjects of the macro challenge included these: brushes; bubbles; bugs; buttons; candy; car; Christmas decoration; Christmas table setting; coins; colour; crafts; cutlery; drinking straw; Easter; eye; feathers; flowers (x2); food; food packaging; fruit; game piece; glass; hands; herb/spice; jewellery; key; knobs; leaf; metal; money; motion; music (x2); plumbing; rust; seeds; shells; shoes; stationery; stone; St Patricks Day; textures; time; tools; toys; waterdrops; wood; Cups; personal bathroom; technology; kitchen universe; mundane; guess.

If you know something is missing, please let me know and I will correct this list for future hosts' consideration.

On this go-round, I have chosen NUTS as our subject -- the kind that are edible and eatable, not your ex-boyfriend or ex-girlfriend or ex-boss or ex-wife or ex-husband. For this challenge, we will consider peanut even though technically it's not a nut but a legume.  Get as close to the nuts as you can, but if you are allergic or have some kind of reaction, my sympathies but don't endanger yourself or those dearest to you just to get a good photo, it's just not worth it. Plus I don't want to be blamed for that.

Now, I'd give you some examples, but sadly there are no nuts available in my home except for me.

The challenge starts right now, Saturday, February 8, 2020.
The challenge will end at midnight (New York/Toronto time) on Saturday, February 29, 2020.  (I will consider submissions if your time zone is behind me.)
What am I forgetting?
Ah, the tag.    macro-nuts

Question, Is it allowed to enter one for the day and one for the challenge?
February 9th, 2020
@bubblequeen - sure you're allowed, but you must have an extra album to do that. but to have an extra album, you have to pay for an ace membership. if you don't feel like paying for ace, yet, you can post your challenge photo on a past date, say a day in december 2019 but tag your photo as appropriately. the only thing is, i made a cursory visit to your album and most of the photos i've seen didn't have much exif info so there's no way of knowing if you took the photo during the challenge or we'll just have to take your word for it. hope that helps.

Thanks I am not sure how to send image with more exif? I thought that just went automatically. Thank you for the comment on my bubble but it is much larger than my sensor therefore not what I would consider to be a macro. Are there guide lines to follow?

@bubblequeen when you're exporting your photos there must be an option to include or exclude the detailed exif.

@bubblequeen - don't sweat the exif issue. you're fine. also you can post a photo that applies to any challenges, for example https://365project.org/summerfield/365-still/2020-01-25 four challenges in one! all you need is a lot of imagination and creativity. i look forward to seeing your entry.
