It was a wonderful surprise to win and I am very honoured and very delighted to be able to host ETSOOI-142.
ETSOOI = 'Edit The Sorryness Out Of It' or 'Edit The S#*t Out Of It!’
In other words, it’s a chance to have some fun and play around with a boring image to produce something more perfect or more exciting, beautiful, weird, different, creative, abstract, winsome, cute, pretty or just meaningful to you!
Just two rules – your starting image must be taken within the challenge time frames and you must have taken the photo yourself.
AND HERE’S THE NITTY-GRITTY -
Start Date – entries back dated to May 4th , 2022
End Date- June 7th ,2022
It would be great if you could also post your photo into one of the comment boxes below. This allows more people to see your creation and keeps this thread really active.
Enter as many images as you like, but only one of your entries may be chosen as a finalist. The winner will have the honour of hosting the next ETSOOI challenge.
Most important though is to have fun and create something wonderful! I am very much looking forward to seeing your entries.

This was a really easy edit - choose a boring image, hit the "negative" or "invert" button and see what happens. You may be surprised, you may want to play a bit more with lighting or exposure or saturation - but whatever else you do it probably won't be boring any more.. :)
It's great fun hosting this challenge - such incentive to try different ideas. This one was a play with the "filters" button, and a choice of "burlap". The result was nothing great until I played with the "advanced options" possibility. Instant abstract - Yes!
