Food photography can be as simple or complex as you want it to be. The topic is vast and open to your own interpretation. Since we are in the midst of the holiday season and for most of us who celebrate it, there will be parties or simply a get together with families and friends. Of course when we celebrate, there will be plenty of food. Where there's plenty of food, no doubt there will be sweets. And what sweet is more popular during this time of the year than CANDY CANE! Children from age one to ninety-one love candy cane. But whether you like candy cane or not, you're bound to end up with a couple! What to do with it? Take a photo of course! You may be surprised but candy canes are colourful enough to photograph. Unleash your creativity and surprise yourself with what you can do, photographically, with this sweet stuff. Impress me!

Strange as it may seem, at 70 years old I have never had candy cane nor bought or made it at Christmas time as a tree decoration. Perhaps it is more of a USA/Europe thing than from my part of the UK! Good luck everyone with this challenge.
