A huge thank you to @Merrelyn for hosting the last Mundane challenge. Thanks must also go to those who participated in the challenge and voted. It was a really interesting subject and there were so many awesome entries, so I was very surprised, and chuffed, to find that I’d won this round.
This is a great challenge for thinking creatively about the ordinary things we see around us, things that we might not otherwise think of photographing.
Unfortunately, I was unable to track down a list of previous topics, so I’m hoping that the subject I’ve chosen - CONE - hasn’t been used recently. It can be any kind of shot (high key, low key, DoF, blur, forced perspective, bokehlicious, anything you can think up), and can be any kind of cone that works for you, eg traffic cone, ice cream cone, fir cone, etc - I can’t wait to see what you all come up with. The only rule; there can be no question the object of the challenge is the star!"
I’m afraid that I had been a bit absent from 365 at the beginning of July due to illness and business, so I missed the announcement about winning the last challenge, so I hope it’s ok if I start this challenge today (13 July) and end it on 9 August.
You may enter as many images as you like, but, as usual, only one may be selected as a finalist. The winner receives the honour of hosting the next mundane challenge.
