For the get pushed challenge this week @bournesnapper Andreas challenged me to show 'an ugly location'. I took this photo last night while at a friends for dinner. There is nothing at all redeeming about this location - it is across a ploughed paddock with power lines on the other side and some houses. The only thing that makes this photo worthy of taking is the sky with just a hint of colour from the sunset.
@bournesnapper Andreas - here is my response to your challenge this week. I did find this a very difficult challenge as I couldn't think of an 'ugly' location and wouldn't normally be looking for such a thing, but I guess it is helpful to learn to think 'outside the box'.
Thank you for coming up with a corker. There is menace in this scene, the brooding sky, the infernal glow in the distance, the bleak feeling that something ugly is about to happen. Lovely.
