Leonard Cohen is certainly one of my all-time favorites- I don’t know if this genre fits your tastes, but apart for the world-renown Hallelujah there are some songs that really left a mark (The Partisan, Famous blue raincoat, Chelsea Hotel #2, just to mention the first three coming to mind)
