Every time I spend time on the snow I can't help thinking of Nanna's lied (The song of Nanna), a wonderful song by Kurt Weill, on Bertold Brecht's lyrics: "Wo Sind die Tränen von gestern abend - wo ist die Schnee von verganenen Jahr" (Where are the tears of yesterday night, where is the snow of last year?)
Hope you enjoy https://youtu.be/0ujxZO3Bx14
Ah, it's an Agfa Scala B&W slide film, expired about 2002, exposed in January 2019 and processed with chemicals expired in 2008... Appropriate, huh? ;)
love the 'feel' of this image and pleased to see the chemicals and film being used rather than thrown away. The way the dark shape of the river provides a leading line to the bridge and figure is so enjoyable.
Your pictures are all’ so beautiful and the narratives so touching that One would like to be able to Gibelli just One big collective FAV to all of them! The fact that Film and chemicals had expired is great. The cherry on the cake
@domenicododaro Great to welcome you back whenever you're able to resume posting Domenico. Funny how this site and its community seems to become rather addictive isn't it? Take care.
