This a fab series - we're in the fairly early days of our lock down here, both Mrs S and I are able to work from home so it dulls the pain somewhat...stay safe and well good sir.
@taffy indeed. And we can’t envisage what is expecting us out there after the storm. @runner365 My mum is 82, and she lives far from Rome. It is so difficult for them to accept isolation. I wish I could lend your mother my kite... @graemestevens Thank you, Graeme. Yes, being together is a comfort, I believe we (I, Mrs. D. and Ms. D.) are close to reaching the longest period staying in the same place all day long in our life! @lostphojo Thank you very much! @joysabin Thank you so much... Sure I don’t mind, I’m humbled: it’s mine, not a third party quote... 😊
Made me smile! I have thoughts of running through our local park with a kite, but alas my flight flying skills are as lacking as my ps skills, so will just dream it instead!
@pdulis Thank you very much! @hrs Thanks a lot! @ukandie1 I’ve lost tens of kites when I was a kid... @jocasta Thank you very much, appreciate your comment. @jgpittenger Thank you very much, glad to share them! @bkbinthecity Thank you a lot, Brian!
The perspective is perfect and so appealing. The kite is ready to just pull you out. You understanding of angles and height even on a 2D plane is impressive!
Kite is a bird, much in evidence before it became a rite of passage to elsewhere. My elder brother had one...so I had one too as a teenager...and 'crashed' it much and often. A passage to maturity...and am still enjoying the journey ;-)
May that thread hold fast. I so love the idea of kite flying in these times. Such a rich means of expressing so well what so many of us are going through.
@s4sayer I do, indeed, still enjoy flying a kite: I hope I’ll have a grandson or granddaughter sooner or later, to restart building kites and flying them with her/him. @blueberry1222 Thanks a lot! @helenhall Thank you very much, Helen.
