The lens is tiny, super straight, practically full-focus (hyper focal from 0,8m to infinite at f:4,5) and relatively inexpensive. Plus, now it comes with Sony e-mount (I have one in Leica m mount and use with an adapter.)
@domenicododaro Oh golly whizz, I sure hope everything works out OK. The vast majority of people here have been very good, but my state has the strictest restrictions of all, and people are starting to grizzle about it all because some other states have lifted some restrictions. But we too have a small minority that just flout all the rules. Four police officers were killed a few days ago because of one such idiot (who had alcohol and drugs in his blood test).
I have certainly enjoyed catching up with a guided tour courtesy of the paper plane. Another magical series of escapism - loved the stories and the high pov shots - I hope you didn't put yourself at risk getting up so high. Strange how the paper plane sometimes didn't emerge in the photo until after I had had a good look around the room! you have some very elegant and interesting spaces.
@domenicododaro Appalling news, shocked everyone. Playboy totally self-interested drove his Porsche 40 K/h or so over the speed limit on a Melbourne freeway. Highway patrol police chased him and pulled him over into the emergency lane. He gave the cops trouble, behaved very badly, reinforcements called. Two more cops arrived, parked behind the first police car (in the emergency lane). Semi-trailer refrigerated truck driver veers across two lanes and smashes into the rear police car which smashes into the front police car which hits the back of the Porsche. Four police severely injured or killed. Playboy lowlife takes phone footage of dying officers and posts them on social media then taunts a dying officer. No words to describe what I, and everyone else thinks of this creep. He's been charged, of course and will face some kind of justice. The truckie turns out to have had an ice pipe in the truck cabin. He's been charged with four counts of all sorts of things and is under police guard in hospital pleading some previously unknown mental condition. Meanwhile four police officers just doing their job didn't make it home that night.
@taffy Absolutely beggars belief, his mother has gone on public record as saying she has totally cut off contact with him years ago because of his behaviour. I'm not prepared to repeat here what he actually said (was recorded on at least one phone and, I think, on a police officer's communicator). It was so selfish and ghastly it made me want to throw up. He's very wealthy so I hope he doesn't wriggle out of the gaol time he deserves. The truckie will definitely go down unless he's able to go the mental impairment route. The whole community is very upset and angry about it all. No big funerals, guards of honour or the usual ceremonies due to the bloody virus. I hope the four dead officers get properly honoured once the bans are lifted.
