A friend asked me if I would shoot her two nieces playing tennis this evening. I'm very happy with what I've seen so far (many, many images to still go through) except for the NOISE! I really hope I get an opportunity to shoot the girls again outdoors where I can have a normal ISO with such a high shutter speed. For as young as they were, they had an incredibly fast swing.
you caught great action! did you try to lower your shutter speed to maybe between 1/500 and 1/1000 then you could lower your iso then it would cut down on the noise. indoor sports are tough!
@jackies365 Unfortunately not as fast as they were swinging...couldn't even go below 1/2000. Tennis is a very fast shutter speed and I really want to do it again outdoors
Great action shot. I find the grain gives it an almost (high speed) film like quality. Quite appealing.
I imagine b&w would give it a great filmy look too.
