Cutting through the ice (USCG Hollyhock & The Alpena)

The Alpena was making its last run of the season to Cleveland…making its way from Lake Huron through the St. Clair River on to the Detroit River and then Lake Erie. The US Coast Guard was helping with cutting a path.
