Both movies were very successful at the box office with people flocking to cinemas to see them. Even now, years later, rebleat screenings can be seen on TV from time to time
I went out with the intention of going to the village of Long Crendon. There's some lovely old-world architecture there. Unfortunately I timed it very badly and arrived just as school was finishing for the weekend! Fortunately, this sheep and her lambs saved my bacon. Bacon??!! ;-) I thought they looked a bit like those rather forbidding, taciturn heroes found in 1960s Westerns.
