Probably better seen on large view if you have a moment.
The sky was a horrible, uniform, flat grey all day today and the air quality rather unpleasant.
It was a good day to go to the Didcot Railway Centre, somewhere I'd been wanting to go for some time. It's a sort of living museum where old steam locomotives are rescued, restored and, on some days, used for pulling carriages to give rides to visitors. I don't understand much about the technical side of the old steam locomotives but I do enjoy looking at them, and so does Lester.
It being a weekend, the volunteers were busy on restoration work. I tried to get some shots of the locos but the engine sheds were quite dark and I would have got in the way if I'd used a tripod. I'm hoping to return on a weekday sometime.
Meantime, here's a view of the tracks, the engine shed, and a couple of the chimneys of Didcot power station.
Critique welcome. Veteran 365er, 2011 vintage. Only posting occasionally and irregularly now.
I'm an abstract photography enthusiast but not exclusively so.

That is a very interesting shot. I like how your eyes go along the rails through the picture. My husband is a real rail enthusuast and takes me to all sorts of places but never Didcot. I think it will be on the list.
