From the foreground and working back we have Lester on melodeon, Terry on treble concertina and Pete on bass concertina. They're playing for a Morris dance.
This is the nearest to facing front that Lester got. 8-)
It's 35 years today since Lester became a fully fledged Morris Dancer (the musicianing came a couple of years later).
Whoever ironed Lester's shirt made a right dog's breakfast of the sleeve. Whoever did it has been ironing Lester's shirts for nearly 37 years. It only goes to show that practice does not always make perfect!

I was so intent on looking at your great composition that I missed the sleeve! I do love the Morris dancers. Congrats to Lester for giving such pleasure to people for all that time.
It is so good the see these old traditions still carry on. Some years ago I ' encouraged ' my husband to iron his own shirts because I was so busy. He now takes great pride in doing them.[ He only ever irons his shirts].
The things you notice in photographs! Perhaps we should take a photo of ourselves in the morning insread of relying on a mirror! Oh, lovely shot, by the way!
@gphelps5 Thank you for the views, comments and the laughs, Graham. What usually happens May-August is a dance out at a pub on Thursday evening and when the dancing's over we go into the pub and sing songs and play tunes. 2 or 3 times during off-season, we all get to feeling a bit deprived of the music and someone just organises a pub session, no dancing.
Do the do pub gigs?
