I went to the Chiltern Open Air Museum on Saturday afternoon to see a demonstration of heavy horses ploughing. I'm not a horsey person but who could resist these beautiful creatures? It was wonderful to see them in action. Here they've just finished ploughing a furrow and are turning to go back down the field ready to turn the next furrow as they make their way up the field again.
Taken Saturday but posted in Sunday's slot.
I'd hoped to go back to the museum today (Sunday) to watch them again - and take more photos, of course :D - but for once the weather forecast was accurate and it's tipped down with rain all day. :(
Critique welcome. Veteran 365er, 2011 vintage. Only posting occasionally and irregularly now.
I'm an abstract photography enthusiast but not exclusively so.

Robin has stolen my words, they are truly magnificent creatures, although like yourself I am not a horsey person, nice when they are the other side of the fence
Such beautiful animals and you've captured them well. I like the "portraity" shot, but prefer this one...I love the ginormous hooves and the sturdy build of draft horses and this shot demonstrates that perfectly.
Oh, they are... What a great shot!
